Happy Spring!
Though it's not the Spring we all had hoped for, the sun is shining today, and with it, the promise of warmer (and better) days ahead. We miss seeing you all, on the main street, in the shops, driving by, and of course, browsing in our little bookstore. Though it's been just over a month now that we've closed our beloved teal door, we have managed to still connect with you all, engage in literary conversation, and provide you with books. Lots of books.
We are beyond grateful to you for your support, kind words, pep talks, and most of all, for your love of reading. To be honest, when we closed our doors, we weren't sure what was happening, how things would unfold, no one did. We're all living the best we can in a time of uncertainty, managing day-to-day, navigating the best we can this strange new world we find ourselves in. But you had our backs. So we rallied. And with your early support, we went to work.
We taught ourselves new skills and sought new opportunities because we had to, this situation is teaching us all new ways to adapt and move forward.
So we launched a new website, and we're pretty excited to tell you all about it. Our hope for it is to create an online literary journal to discuss and exchange ideas, to create a place for discovery. In time, we'll be adding more content, but for now, you'll find book reviews and blog entries.
You will find us at:www.curiosityhousebooks.com
And we've been keeping busy with book deliveries and curbside pick ups. Currently, we are "open" for regular curbside pick up each Friday from 11am to 2pm at our pickup window for pre-paid orders.
You can email orders to:info@curiosityhousebooks.com
We are in the store at random hours during the week so the best way to reach us is through email at:info@curiosityhousebooks.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
