In the interests of public health and safety, we have made the decision to close our doors to the public effective immediately. We will not be opening this week and wehekend and will remain closed until further notice. We are also postponing all events that we had scheduled for April and May, as well as putting a hold on booking future events. We hope to reschedule these events when the time is right to do so.
We are doing what we believe is the right response in these uncertain times and to do our part in flattening the curve. We want to help protect those most vulnerable, and to look out for the safety of our patrons, staff, families and community. We are all in this together.
We stand in solidarity with all indie bookstores and small businesses making these tough decisions in the face of some challenging times ahead. But most importantly, we stand with everyone right now making all kinds of tough decisions, some at the risk of financial loss, as this affects us all.
And though our doors may be closed, we’re still open for business.
If you’re in need of a good book right now and you’d like to support our store, there are a few things you can do:
- order a gift card in any denomination over the phone705-520-2500or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or message us on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter.
- you can still purchase books - is there a book you want? Let us know and we’ll do our best to get it to you, therefore we support our suppliers and authors as well. We are offering free local delivery drop offs in the Creemore area. We’ll leave it on your stoop or by the door.
- over the course of the next few days we’ll post some photos of books currently in store that you can buy right now! And take a look at our Instagram post - see a book you want, let us know.
- consider being a member of our store. We have 3 levels with discounts and perks.
